Paint a Poppy Challenge

Discover and even take part in a record breaking mural from the SAA. Inspired by the WW1 Centenary, this collection of 1000’s of poppy paintings will be a riot of colour! Members have been asked to paint, donate and remember and you can see this fantastic display.  Find out below how to paint a poppy and return to ensure they are part of the display of 40,000 painted poppies!

Meet professional artists demonstrating their expert skills including Claudia Hahn, Stephen Coates, Graham Cox (Moody Views), Carol Bonsor and representatives from Gadsbys including Caran D’ache. Pick up top tips and advice, or simply watch as they create masterpieces!

By Rail:
Birmingham International Station is within the NEC complex and gives easy access to the show. 

Discount travel with Virgin trains. Exhibitors and visitors can take advantage of discounted train travel to the show. The offer is applicable on advance virgin train west coast main line routes/tickets only. Advance tickets go on sale 12 weeks from the dates of travel.

By Car:
The NEC is situated 8 miles east of Birmingham city centre, just off junction 6 of the M42 and is clearly signposted.
